Hi, I'm Jason.
I'm a designer focusing on the UX and strategy of digital products in Vancouver, Canada.
Currently I'm building cool stuff at Woke Studio and freelancing for clients all over the world.
Mio PAI for Apple Watch
I led the design of Mio Global’s first Apple Watch app, which lets users see their PAI score throughout the day and track their heart rate and intensity levels as they work out.
Mio PAI and Slice
I worked on UX and UI for Mio’s innovative PAI app, working with the development and product team for over a year to bring PAI to market.
I was the main designer working on the interface for the accompanying Slice wearable, which won a 2017 Red Dot Product Design award, and was named "Best of CES" by the Wall Street Journal, PC Magazine, and both Men's and Women's Health.
FTSY 3D Capture
I worked with FTSY to design a 3D measurement interface for their app, which helps users find shoes with the perfect fit.
Through a process of interactive prototyping and user testing, we created an intuitive flow that guided users to capture high quality images from the 10 angles required to stitch together a 3D model.
Radiant Alarm Clock
Radiant is an alarm clock for the device age. It uses light and gentle sound to wake you up and help you fall asleep. It creates digital sunrises and sunsets, all customizable via app.
Radiant was the thesis project of my Industrial Design undergrad in 2014.
In 2015, I worked on a currently unreleased project for Lululemon. My work included user research, UX and UI design, and industrial design.
In 2014, I got together with a bunch of friends to create A Pop-Up Affair, a pop-up shop where we showcased experimental designs for fun and for sale.
